Jetè to the USA: From New York to San Francisco Bay

The Australian Ballet gets set to pirouette across America this October This October, The Australian Ballet returns to LA for the first time in more than four decades and the San Francisco Bay Area for the first time in over 20 years to premiere an Australian classic, Graeme Murphy’s Swan Lake.

The company’s 33rd international tour will kick off on 9 October in Los Angeles at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion before travelling to Berkeley, opening 16 October at Cal Performances’ Zellerbach Hall.

We’ll be performing Graeme Murphy’s critically acclaimed production of Swan Lake in Los Angeles at the LA Music Center from 9 – 12 October (5 performances) and in San Francisco at Zellerbach Hall in Berkley from 16 – 19 October (5 performances). We will perform with local orchestras with a touring party of 100 people and will schedule a number of community engagement/public program opportunities for the tour’s duration. An opening night event will be held in each city.
