We have a busy schedule this month, so please join us for some great AACC events:
Tonight! - SF Sundowner Drinks at Withersworldwide November 1st - The Great Aussie Walkabout San Francisco has often been described in the media as being in a 'doom loop' and yet for many of us who work and reside in the city, there is evidence to suggest otherwise. The AACC Board is often in contact with Australian based organizations and has been alarmed to hear of some Australian visitors wishing to skip San Francisco due to the negative publicity. This is in direct contrast to SF being a must-see city, just a short while ago. To offer a perspective on the business environment, the AACC has partnered with City Hall and other leading businesses to lead a walk through the downtown city neighborhoods on Wednesday, November 1st. Our intention is to highlight how businesses are managing in the post-pandemic environment and to provide a more balanced view of the state of the city. Starting from City Hall, we will be guided through the Tenderloin, and down the grand boulevard of Market St, ending our walk at the St. Regis Hotel. A representative from the media will be joining us for this unique initiative. Please join in too! November 3rd - Monthly Coffee Meet Up

Sydney's sister city, San Francisco has endured many well documented ups and downs in its historic and colorful past. The media frequently share stories of San Francisco that paint it in the worst possible light. While there may be some truth to areas of decline, there is other evidence to suggest we're experiencing another revival. San Francisco is the home of music, innovation, and a second home to many Australian expatriates and businesses.
Join the AACC on a walk through the city to take a more balanced look at the state of the city. Starting at the historic City Hall, we will be guided through the Tenderloin, and down the grand boulevard of Market St, concluding at the St. Regis Hotel.

THE 11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL GOLF SCRAMBLE |
Our annual golf tournament, organized in partnership with the BABC took place on October 5th at the Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame. Despite it being the hottest day of the year, representatives from 10 international organizations in the Bay Area came together to participate in this exciting event. Many thanks to our sponsors Telstra, Fairmont San Francisco, AKI, CCW Business Solutions, Preferred Bank, and Spott Lucey & Wall. Congratulations to all our prize winners and a special shout out to the tournament champions, Gordon Stirling, Olivier Severin, Julian Marsh and Donna Amo.
