AUSSIE CLUB MEMBERSHIP
The Aussie Club, in this its inaugural year, will be focused on establishing itself as the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier Australian/American business network and forum for senior executives. As a special membership level of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce, the Aussie Club members will also receive general AACC membership benefits and access to events and programs.
The Aussie Club is in partnership with the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts group and the Patron of The Aussie Club is the Hon. Nigel Warren, Australian Consul-General and Senior Trade & Investment Commissioner.
The Aussie Club will introduce Bay Area senior business executives to prominent Australian business and political leaders through a dynamic program of round-table discussions, panel discussions and speaker series. This program will provide unique insights into Australia’s business, economic, political and cultural environments and will provide local business leaders with opportunities to develop new networks and synergies.
The Aussie Club will strive to be an independent forum where business leaders who are driving change can exchange ideas, opinions, and viewpoints.
Membership in The Aussie Club is limited and open to senior business executives with an interest in Australian business and culture and offers a unique forum to network with an exclusive group of senior executives based not only here in the Bay Area but also visiting dignitaries from Australia. Our dynamic programs will feature Australian connections, up-and-coming executives and national business leaders.
We have concluded from our recent Aussie Club survey completed by potential members that the Aussie Club focus should be on Australian business trends, Australian business and government relations and Australian entrepreneurs. In addition we plan to include some Investment and Technical topics.
In terms of financial support, the consensus of the survey was to primarily fund the Aussie Club via Business and Individual Membership levels.
The following are the membership levels for the Aussie Club:
Company Membership - $695
- · One person entry to each Aussie Club event. (Four events per year)
- · Membership for three employees to the Australian American Chamber of Commerce and all its benefits.
- · Invitations to other AACC and Australian Consulate hosted events.
- · Company logo on the dedicated Aussie Club page on the AACC Website
Individual Membership - $295
- · One person entry to each Aussie Club event. (Four events per year)
- · Membership to the Australian American Chamber of Commerce and all its benefits.
- · Invitations to other AACC and Australian Consulate hosted events.
- · Company listing on the dedicated Aussie Club page on the AACC Website
Several survey respondents also suggested company sponsorships and in-kind sponsorships could provide financial support. We would welcome this type of support so please contact Dawn Lillington to let us know if you are interested.
